Elizabeth Jennings papers, 1952-1972.

The collection contains thirty manuscript poems; one folio (Sceptre Press, copy no. 7 of 40) signed by five poets including Jennings; a portfolio labelled "Dante" which may be a translation of his poems; two corrected galleys of three poems; biographical clippings on Jennings; subscription orders for her book, Poems; and eighteen letters to her editor and publisher. Correspondence with Oscar Mellor, publisher of the Fantasy Press, concerns her books and book contracts, and includes receipts for royalty payments. Also, includes letters from her agent David Higham to I.E. Mellor at Fantasy Press. Jennings writes to William Cookson, editor of Agenda, admiring his work with David Jones and expressing thanks that he likes her poems.
